• Content you create: posts, comments, messages, media uploads, audio selections, and profile details such as bio, avatar, and cover photo.
• Usage data: interactions like likes, comments, shares, follows, and feed engagement signals, used to rank and personalize your feed.
• Communications data: messages you send are end-to-end encrypted in supported conversations, meaning the plaintext content is not readable by us in storage; call audio/video is carried over encrypted WebRTC/SRTP connections.
• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, and access timestamps, used for security, abuse prevention, and diagnostics.
• Payment data (advertisers only): if you fund an ad campaign, payment is handled directly by Stripe; we receive confirmation of payment and an amount, not your full card details.

3. How we use information

• To operate core features: posting, feeds, messaging, calls, meetings, spaces, and notifications.
• To personalize your feed and recommend content, communities, and spaces.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• To process ad campaign payments and deliver sponsored content.
• To communicate with you about your account, security, or changes to our policies.

4. Third parties we work with

The Service relies on the following categories of third-party providers:

• Payment processing(Stripe) for advertiser billing — governed by Stripe's own privacy policy for the payment details you provide directly to them.
• Real-time communication infrastructure for voice/video calls, meetings, and Space voice rooms — media is relayed to enable your call, not recorded by us by default.
• Public-domain and openly-licensed audio libraries (e.g. Internet Archive, LibriVox) used to power the in-app Audio Library — no personal data is shared with these providers beyond the search terms you enter.

5. Your choices

• You can edit or delete Your Content, and update your profile, at any time from Settings.
• You can control notification preferences (likes, comments, follows) from Settings.
• You can block other users, which also prevents them from messaging you or seeing your posts.
• You can deactivate your account from Settings → Account, which hides your profile, posts, and messages.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you deactivate or delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including password hashing, encrypted transport (HTTPS/WSS), and end-to-end encryption for supported messages. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service before they take effect.
